Being a real estate team, it’s important to have a brand, create a unique name and image for a service in the client’s mind through advertising campaigns with a consistent theme. But it’s more important to be known for the things you do, not the things you say.

A company’s vision statement sets a target, what the company aspires to. A mission statement, on the other hand, explains what the company actually does. A core value statement outlines how we do it, articulating the company’s approach to its very existence.

Team Colato knows the importance of sharing, being grateful and coherent. That’s why we chose the following values to guide our work:

  • Empathy: ability to understand and share the feelings of another person.
  • ​Communication: being forthcoming, transparent and responsive.
  • Trust: belief and confidence in the integrity, reliability and fairness of a person. Integrity places people above profits, relationships above return on investment, reputation above revenue.
  • Discipline: ability to do what is right even if you don’t feel like doing it.

By defining these values, we reinforce an understanding of what we believe in and reflect who we are, and make it our objective to incorporate them in the process of accomplishing the tasks at hand.
